Meet the Director

Olivia Bronwyn is an award-winning, multifaceted filmmaker with a focus on documentary and poetic storytelling. With a previous education in English and Geography, her environmentalist interests have come full circle with her now focus on sustainable filmmaking; writing, directing, editing, and producing stories meant to educate and inspire. She spent much of her childhood in musical theatre and developed skills in acting, dancing and singing. Those experiences shaped how she understands emotion, human connection and how to hold an audience through creative and performing arts. That foundation guides her work today and influences how she approaches her projects, her collaborations and her personal relationships. She continues to use self expression to navigate the challenges and complexities of life, and is happy to represent Humber as a Green Film School Alliance Ambassador, encouraging sustainable initiatives in these representations of life through the works of hers and her peers.

Meet the Producer

Dana Roggero is a Toronto-based editor and producer focusing on raw and reflective storytelling. Her work draws from her experience growing up in Toronto’s inner suburbs as a child of immigrants, and she hopes to inspire youth with similar backgrounds to see new possibilities for themselves and the future.

While pursuing her diploma in the Film and Television Production program at Humber Polytechnic, she worked on The Punchline, a short documentary exploring Toronto’s stand-up comedy scene. She went on to produce Please Hold, a comedic short about corporations prioritizing profit over people, and Mothered Nature, a short about how love defines a mother beyond genetics. These projects highlight her commitment to personal, socially aware storytelling that resonates with underrepresented communities.
